Forging timeless, quality Pieces Is Our Business.
Michael du Bois began working with metal in the early 1990's as a Union Ironworker in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon moving to beautiful, historic Charleston over 25 years ago, Michael began his career as a blacksmith, learning while working under Rick Averett at Ole Charleston Forge. A Foreman there for many years, Michael decided to "strike while the iron was hot" and broke out on his own in January 2011. Michael's custom railings, gates and sculptural pieces can we seen in Downtown Charleston, Kiawah Island, Mount Pleasant, around the Lowcountry and throughout the southeast.
